On Thursday, May 7, 2020, the ANSI Board of Standards Review (BSR) responded to the American Rental Association (ARA) most recent appeal of the A92 standards, clarifying some issues but also left many ARA concerns unresolved. According to John McClelland, Ph.D., ARA vice president for government affairs and chief economist, in an effort to get more clarity on issues surrounding the Manual of Responsibility (MoR) required in A92.20 and A92.22, ARA will be requesting letters of interpretation from the A92 committee while reserving our right to appeal again to the BSR. We offer training and Certification for operators, managers, and supervisors. Our training is convenient, fast, and thorough. Those who pass the exam are given a hard-stock card with their photo as proof of certification. The cost for training and certification is $199 and includes lunch.
Remember the new deadline is June 1, 2020. Fines will be steep for those who are found working and don’t have certification cards.
